The history of Miroshnichenko is worthy of film adaptation. At the beginning of 2022, the striker was made a severe diagnosis – the Hodgkin lymphoma. But Ivan fought the disease and after six months he returned to the ice. In July, Washington chose a talented hockey player in the first round of the NHL draft.

After a year and a half, Ivan debuted in the strongest League of the world, and in the fifth match he scored the first point, throwing the puck into the gates of Pittsburgh.
