Women’s Volleyball League: Start with Olympiacos – AEK and PAOK – Panathinaikos
On the first day of the women’s volley league, we will play two derbies after the draw for the new championship in the EOPE offices.
The draw for their new league took place Women’s Volleyball League in the offices of EOPE. The lottery was fun from day one, we will have two derbies.
In particular, Olympiacos welcome AEK, PAOK play Panathinaikos at home, while the second matchday sees the eternal derby with the Greens as the home team.
In the meeting room, representatives and athletes from the teams of the category gave a special color to the draw that marked the first… unofficial serve of the new season.
Panathinaikos was represented by General Manager Sotiris Pantaleon, Team Manager Nikos Lazos and Captain and Passer Athena Papafotiou, Olympiacos by Team Manager Nikos Katsiura and Captain and Passer Stella Christodoulou, AEK by General Leader Leonidas Archontis, Team Manager Nikos Panagiotidis and Center Anna Kalandatze.
Sports director Eleni Memetzi and passer Marina Tsochatzi were present for AO Thiras, from Markopoulo were present the president Paris Evangeliou and Central Errika Gravaris, from Aris Elias Tzimas and from Elysiakos the assistant of Katalin Keys Costas Kogalidis.
From the new ZAON were the communications manager Maria Spyrakou and the diagonal Marvi Giovani, and from Egaleo the president Pantelis Vlachos, the trainer Angeliki Antoniadis and the passer-by Katerina Vlachou.

A doctor from the Yenisei volleyball club provided emergency assistance to a child on board the plane
The doctor of the men’s volleyball club “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, Shakhriyar Mirzoev, provided emergency assistance to the boy on board the plane.
The incident happened during the New Year holidays on the Kazan-Krasnoyarsk flight. The specialist noticed that the man and child were in the toilet for 20 minutes, and the flight attendant came in there periodically.
“I approached and saw that a boy of about nine was standing at the sink filled with water and blood. At that moment, the flight attendant began to ask if there was a doctor on board, to which I replied: “I’m a doctor, I’ll help now.”
I tried to stop the bleeding using cotton wool and improvised means that the conductors had, applying cold to the bridge of the nose. But this had no effect – everything was soaked in blood. The bleeding did not stop for about 20 minutes.
I tried to calm the child down and began to think about what to do next. I asked the flight attendants for a first aid kit and found ampoules of adrenaline there. Having opened two ampoules, I soaked two cotton pads with the solution and inserted them deep into the child’s nose. After a couple of minutes, I saw that the blood had stopped,” AiF Krasnoyarsk quotes Mirzoev as saying.
The child came to his senses. As it turned out, the boy had undergone surgery to remove his adenoids the day before, which probably caused the bleeding.

Lokomotiv volleyball players beat MSTU in a Russian championship match
Novosibirsk Lokomotiv defeated Moscow MSTU in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Volleyball Championship.
The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 3–2 (25:21, 20:25, 25:23, 23:25, 15:10) in favor of the guests.
Lokomotiv scored 44 points and ranks second in the Super League standings, MSTU (6 points) is 16th.

Volleyball players of St. Petersburg “Zenith” beat “Nova” and won their fifth victory in a row in the Super League
St. Petersburg “Zenith” defeated “Nova” from Novokuybyshevsk in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Volleyball Championship.
